Felipe Kirsten is an Italian-South African director, producer and writer. Kirsten began his film career at age 13 in his hometown of Johannesburg. At 17 years old he became the youngest South African film director to have accepted a major category award at a national film festival, with his short-subject documentary The Pixie Lowe Story (2015).
