- Abbey is a member of the Air Cadets; she is the rank 'Sgt'. Abbey's regular attendance at cadets has allowed her to gain awards, such as her First aid award, a Heart Start award and a Health and Safety Award. Abbey's role at cadets is being the Health and Safety Officer. This role requires her to educate cadets on basic health and safety requirements. She is also working towards a Btec in Aviation Studies.
- Abbey achieved all 10 of her GCSEs, which she studied at Whitley Bay High School. After getting her results, she choose to stay on and study her A levels at Whitley Bay.
