Killian Garvan

Killian Garvan is an Irish award-winning screenwriter and director whose work focuses on supernatural and horror storytelling in Ireland. He has written and directed a series of independent short films in a horror anthology-inspired style, each exploring morality, identity, and the uncanny through atmospheric, character-driven narratives. These works have helped establish his reputation as the leading figure in bringing horror-anthology storytelling to Ireland for the first time. He is also the writer of Killian Garvan's Personal Portraits, currently in development with producer Stephen Broekhuizen, which has been described as Ireland's first horror anthology feature film. By creating the first project of its kind in Ireland, Killian is helping to shape a new chapter in the nation's cinematic history. In addition to writing the project, he appears in the film as the enigmatic store owner of the "personal portrait" store, reinforcing his role as both storyteller and guide into his unsettling world.
