Alexander Gilliam

Growing up in southern Louisiana, Alexander was surrounded by music, arts and food. In 1997 he moved to Grambling, LA where he would stay until graduating from Grambling State University Laboratory High School in 2007. While in Grambling he joined many clubs/organizations such as 4-H, Jr.leadership, high school marching band, and more.
In Sept. 2007 Alexander moved to North Miami, FL where he attended Johnson & Wales University. While at the university Alexander had the opportunity to Star in two staged plays, write and star in two symposium performances, and also choreograph and design dance team performances. In 2011 Alexander graduated with an Associates in Culinary Arts, Bachelors in Foodservice Management and a concentration in Beverage Management. In 2015 he earned his MBA in Hospitality.
In 2016, Alexander had the opportunity to work with one of his childhood heroes, Nakia Burrise. He guest starred on her show Class Dismissed. After receiving some encouraging words and an amazing experience he returned to Atlanta and began auditioning for background roles. He's been featured on the hit musical drama Star and Hap & Leonard Mucho Mojo in addition to working on a few other shows.
In May 2017 Alexander moved to Virginia to continue his professional growth in the culinary world. In February 2018, Alexander received the opportunity and chose to be represented by The Brock Agency.
