Michelle Alba Yazvac, a Filipino-American actor, was born in Germany and grew up between the southern U.S. and the Philippines. She studied drama at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.
Soon after graduating, she made her TV debut in an episode of Law & Order: SVU, directed by the talented Lucy Liu. Michelle has also appeared in supporting roles for projects such as the Lifetime movie, Secrets Exposed, and the feature film Discontinued, which is now available on streaming platforms like Apple TV. You can also hear her voiceover work in the popular doc-series The Vow on HBOmax.
Notably, she was awarded Best Actress for her role in the short film Sold at the Transparent Film Festival in 2022.
Aside from her love of acting, Michelle is a former ballet dancer having been a company member of the Charlotte City Ballet Company in her youth.
She also finished her Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
