  • LeMoyne Alexander was born as Lemoyne Emanuel Alexander Smith in Chicago, Illinois. The Gold & Platinum Producer, Singer Songwriter is the oldest of Six siblings From Percussionist "Oscar Smith" The musical family Ran by his father taught him everything about music.

    He started playing guitar at the age of twelve influenced by his parents' love of R&B, jazz, and blues. In the Southside of Chicago, his mother joined the Choir. He wanted to play guitar in the church band as a young boy but to shy. As a teen, He studied "Jimi Hendrix" "Jimmy Page" "Eddie Hazel" & "Steve Miller" on the art of Guitar.

    In the late 1970s he pursued his musical career with the start of a band he and a classmate started that featured his brother on drums. Winning neighborhood talent contests all over town put them in the studio, where he learned the Kraft of production.

    Alexander signed with Micheal Bivins "Biv10" records as a producer in 1996 working with a roster of new artists including R&B soul group "Subway". After years of production with Multiple companies "Londell Mcmillan's "North Star" "Motown" "Rap-A-Lot and "RCA".

    Alexander decided to leave it all behind and follow his first love of "RocK" and formed a Hard Rock Band "St8 of Grace" releasing four Albums and earning a huge fan base with his collaboration with 'Queen" on the song "Killer Queen" with honorable respect to "Freddie Mercury" earning a whopping million streams.

    After years of Music he decided to try his hand at TV and Film starting with "The Oprah Winfrey Show" "The Doctors" " Iyanla" and more but it was his love for movies that quenched his thirst starting with composing the score for Cult classic "Crime Partners" credited as "LA Smith" and then more films came.

    Alexander signed with Isotopia Records in 2019 releasing his debut album "Solitude" in 2020 during the pandemic Just like one of his major early influences, (Prince) Alexander played nearly all the instruments on the album. "Solitude" met with critical reviews with the exception of the Covid-19 Pandemic he released a follow up Single "Mr. Policeman" in 2021, "Bad 4 You" in 2022 earning thousands of new fans and releasing "Perfect world" as a single earning a Grammy consideration for "best rock song category" in 2023, with the album "Perfect World" based on the outcry of 2020 Released October 20th, 2023 Earning a milestone of streams In Germany, New Zealand, Finland, Russia and the U.S. in addition he is inducted into the California Music Hall of Fame (2024) Earning the respectful title of "King of Psychedelic Rock" Reveling in the soul, rock and funk influences of the sixties and seventies. While Preparing to tour in all regions in 2024 he has been busy Recording his full-length double album "Arrhythmia" expected in late fall of 2024

    Alexander wrote and directed his debut short Horror film "The Visitors " (2014) for a series on FEARnet which led him into more features like "Laundromat " based on a true story (2016) and his upcoming Thriller/horror "Chosen" (2024)
