Lauren Akins was born on November 8, 1989 in the United States. She is a podcaster and actress, known for Thomas Rhett feat. Maren Morris: Craving You (2017), Thomas Rhett: Die a Happy Man (2015) and Thomas Rhett: Life Changes (2018). She has been married to Thomas Rhett since October 12, 2012. They have five children.

Mother, with husband Thomas Rhett, of daughters Willia Gray Rhett (b. November 2015), Ada James Akins (b. August 12, 2017), and Lennon Love Rhett (b. February 10, 2020).

She and husband Thomas Rhett adopted their first daughter Willa on May 11, 2017 from her home country Uganda. Lauren first met the 18-month-old, aptly nicknamed "Blessing", in 2016 when Lauren visited the country with 147 Million Orphans. At the time, the couple had been trying to conceive without success and had just begun to discuss adoption. In the meantime, they discovered Lauren was finally pregnant with another girl, which meant that her window for bringing Willa home was closing fast. After adopting Willa, they welcomed two biological daughters, Ada in 2017 and Lennon in 2020.

Has two younger siblings named Grayson and Macy.

(October 12, 2012) Married her on-off boyfriend of 7 years Thomas Rhett. She and Thomas knew each other since first grade when they were in the same class at Goodpasture Christian in Madison. They dated for six months when they were fifteen. However, things did not work out between them and they broke up. After that, they were living a separate life with separate people and relationships. When Lauren was sixteen and had just gotten out of a relationship, Thomas again made a move and then the pair again started dating each other.
