Michael was born and raised in North Saanich and Victoria, British Columbia, territory belonging to the WSANEC, Songhees and Esquimalt Nations. A longtime theatre actor, Michael began his career in film and television in 2016 with a lead role in the comedy series Ollie and Emma.
