Jeanine S. Ruiz

Born on 12th April, 1992, Jeanine S. Ruiz began life in the world of music at the young age of six when she first tried her hand at the cuatro. She obtained a BA Degree in Musical Arts at The University of the West Indies and graduated with First Class Honours in 2014.
Although she has 12 years of experience (as at 2017) holding many roles in the music industry, including Composer, Arranger, Musical Director, Producer, Sound Engineer and Performer, her passion has always been composing for film. That opportunity found her in 2016 when the director / producer of the feature film The Cutlass (2017) discovered her music on YouTube, and asked her to score the film.
She lives in Trinidad and Tobago.
