- Bob was born and raised in Germany and left home at the age of 15 to go on an adventure and chase a dream...Coming to America - 'The Land of Opportunities' where money is laying in the streets.
He literally started his journey in the entertainment industry at the very bottom, working as an usher in a movie theatre. He learned all aspects of theatre operations from buying concessions, projection, management, buying and booking films, etc. He then went on to work as a regional distributor, booking films in theaters. From there, Bob went to work traveling all over Europe licensing foreign films for exhibition on the 'then' infant cable television industry.
After moving to Los Angeles, Bob got a job as a theatrical Booker for a film distribution company. With all the experience he brought to the table, he was soon promoted to V.P. & General Manager and shortly thereafter, offered the opportunity to buy the company, which he owned and operated for 20 years.
After Bob retired, he soon got bored with nothing to do and started drinking at 8 o'clock in the morning. Since this was not the life he wanted to live, his choice was clear...he gave up drinking and took up acting. Since making that decision, he has worked on close to 300 films, television shows, and commercials.
For Bob, this journey turned out to be more of an adventure than he had ever dreamed possible and...It's just beginning!!!
