Biography

Marcel Pullard

Mini bio

  • Marcel Pullard, known as "Celly" by family, is a Los Angeles born actor. Marcel's first TV show appearance was on Disney XD's Walk the Prank as Clumsy Carl, which began with one line, for one episode, but turned into a recurring role spanning a two-year period. Marcel's recurring role on Freeform's Grown-ish also began as a one line audition, and developed into a recurring role during seasons 4-6. Marcel's commercial experience, includes features in commercials for brands including Capital One (w/Charles Barkley), Straight Talk Wireless, Finish Line, Northrup Grumman, Burger King, Toyota, DirecTV, Amazon, and McDonalds' BOGO for $1 Mix & Match Deal and The Snack Wrap is Back commercials.

Marcel's career began before he knew what was happening, when he wore a diaper as an infant in a Target print ad. Marcel's first, and quite memorable stage performance was in a Christmas musical at Taylor Tots, a preschool in Los Angeles, and at age 6 he appeared in Alicia Keys' Superwoman video. Marcel has trained in classes and private coaching at studios of Cynthia Bain, Zak Barnett, Richard Lawson, Lisa Picotte, and Marcie Smolin. As Clumsy Carl, Marcel gained experience doing stunts and working with a stunt coordinator/trainer. He has also had extensive voice-over training with the legendary Debbi Derryberry.

Marcel was once described by a teacher as a "friend magnet." He is known to be sarcastically funny, quick witted, and outgoing; not ashamed to be himself. He enjoys playing video games, watching anime, and playing sports. He also enjoys watching most sports while providing play by play coverage that includes his comedic take on the action.
