Blü Gengo is an actor, filmmaker, creative producer, and co-founder and co-owner of SIRXN Productions. Raised in Oakland and now based in New York City, she is committed to building community through film and storytelling.
Blü attended Oakland School for the Arts from middle school through high school, where she received classical theatre training and developed the artistic foundation that shapes her work. She went on to study at The New School for Drama in New York City, where she continued her acting training while expanding into directing, playwriting, screenwriting, and creative producing. There, she cultivated the multidisciplinary approach to storytelling that informs her work across stage and screen.
Fluent in English, Italian, French, and Spanish, Blü works as both a performer and storyteller. She hopes to uplift stories from the global majority that deserve to be seen on a larger scale, creating work rooted in emotional honesty, cultural specificity, and meaningful collaboration.
