Biography

Casey Pearson is an American makeup artist and hairstylist. In 2017, at age 26, she designed/department headed her first feature film: Over There (2018). She is entirely self-taught, in both makeup artistry and hair styling, and constantly pushes herself to practice and to learn new skills. She attended the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, focused in painting and drawing. In 2015 she made the decision to freelance on her own, and has built her business from the ground up, now working in film, commercial, TV, print, runway, and SFX.

In addition to her focus in film, Casey is also the Beauty Director for The Volk, a certified non-profit organization that uses collaboration through fashion and art to raise money and awareness for mental health. The Volk creates a quarterly fashion magazine as well as hosting trend and fashion shows.
