- Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, Ronnie Q. (Ronald Joseph Quillen) is a director, actor, and producer of Irish, Chinese, and Japanese descent. He graduated from Stony Brook University in 2012 with a B.S. in Psychology before shifting from neuropsychology research to a career in film. As a filmmaker, Ronnie has directed and produced dozens of projects including Dealer's Choice, The Bench, Mercy, and Epic-Demic. His commercial work spans brands such as Riko's Pizza, Nicole Miller, Gazillion Bubble Show, and Saatva. As an actor, he has appeared in over 30 projects, with lead roles in Vacation, For Sale, Lord of the Clerks, and Mission Control, as well as featured work in Marvel's Dr. Strange, Mr. Robot, and Iron Fist. He has also served as a stunt coordinator on multiple independent films. Ronnie was previously represented by John Shea at Frontier Booking International and Todd Stein at Stein Entertainment. He is now the founder of RQ Films, an independent film studio based in New York City dedicated to cinematic storytelling across short films, music videos, commercials, and documentaries.
