Biography

  • Robert Christopher Smith is a Los Angeles-based writer, director, and SAG-AFTRA-eligible actor, originally from Louisville, Kentucky. A graduate of the University of Kentucky (BA, Creative Writing) and Alliant International University (MA, Applied Linguistics), Smith spent two decades in high-level professional sales before leaving the corporate world to pursue his lifelong passion for storytelling through film.

His feature directorial debut, Vengeance Turns (Volume One & Volume Two), blends grindhouse grit with classic western influences and premiered in a two-volume format on Tubi and Amazon Prime via Random Media. Over the five-year development of Vengeance Turns, Smith wrote and directed a series of short films - including Cut, Taker, Her Own Demons, Maddest Love, and Relatable - many of which feature recurring cast members and have been recognized at multiple indie festivals.

Smith's latest work includes the politically charged horror satire Spread: Pigs to Slaughter, the erotic horror feature Succubus Next Door, and the vertical series Karma Mechanic, streaming across social platforms and in widescreen format on Patreon. He also hosts the Lethal Voice Podcast and produces comics under his Lethal Voice brand.

Smith continues to develop new feature films, comics, and transmedia storytelling projects through his creative banner, Lethal Voice Entertainment.
