Biography

Anca Vaida is a multi-award winning actress, director and writer based in London, and a BAFTA Connect and Directors UK Member.

She won multiple Best Actress and Best Director awards at international film festivals for the TV Series "Psyched!".

Several of Anca’s films screened at Oscar, BAFTA and BIFA qualifying film festivals.

Anca is accredited by the British Academy of Stage and Screen Combat in unarmed, rapier and dagger, quarterstaff, broadsword, sword and shield and small sword combat. She is also experienced in archery, has had firearms training and is a PADI certified advanced scuba diver.

Anca is a film judge at the Believe Psychology Film Festival, LA and at the One Fluid Night Film Festival, London.

Anca combines her acting, directing and writing work with being a doctor working in the National Health Service in London.

Anca trained in acting at East 15 Acting School, London.
