Cindy Lee(XII)

Cindy is an Oscar-nominated South African director and the daughter of renowned agent and casting director Moonyeenn Lee. She began her career as a copywriter at TBWA Hunt Lascaris before transitioning to directing commercials, which sharpened her eye for long-form storytelling. Cindy earned a SAFTA nomination for her TV debut Sober Companion. She's directed acclaimed series including The Girl From St. Agnes, Desert Rose (SAFTA-nominated), and The Morning After, which screened at the Berlinale European Film Market and earned her a Venice TV Awards nomination. Her short The Last Ranger has won multiple awards at top international festivals including a nomination at the 97th Academy Awards.
