- Writer-Director Ranjan Chandel, most notably known for writing-directing the period drama series 'Grahan' (2021) for Disney Hotstar starring Wamiqa Gabbi, Zoya Akhtar, Pavan Malhotra & Anshuman Pushkar. The series was specially awarded for Excellent work on OTT by Bimal Roy Memorial Committee and the series got nominated in 11 categories including the Best Director in Filmfare Awards.
Ranjan, previously, directed his debut feature film 'Bamfaad' (2020) starring Vijay Varma and introducing Shalini Pandey & Aditya Rawal.
Ranjan's short film 'Jaan Jigar' was awarded the best debut film in Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF) in 2018. The film is streaming on Jio Cinema.
Ranjan, before directing films, co-wrote Anurag Kashyap's 'Mukkabaaz' (2017), Neeraj Ghaywan's 'Juice' (2017) which won the Filmfare Best Short Film Award.
