Matthew Erick White is an American actor known for his work in film, television, and theater. He currently stars as Jim Hopper in the Broadway production of Stranger Things: The First Shadow, where his performance earned BroadwayWorld's Debut of the Month recognition. He portrayed young Phil Robertson in The Blind, Fathom Events' highest-grossing theatrical release, and has also appeared in Dutton Ranch, Criminal Minds: Evolution, NCIS: Origins, The Young and the Restless, and numerous other film and television projects.

Originally from Huntersville, North Carolina.

Earned both a B.A. in Film and a Master's in Business by age 21.

First acting role was as the Scarecrow in a school production of The Wizard of Oz.
