Thoroughly experienced and trained in the Martial Arts (Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Tae Kwon Do) and holds an advanced belt in Karate and Tang Soo Do.

Donovan has played music ever since he was a young child. At 10 years old he began learning the guitar and drums. Fast forward just 9 years later and Donovan's musical talents landed him a guest appearance on The Tonight Show w/Jay Leno. He booked the late night TV show performance after the success of a viral video that he and his guitar teacher (Patrick Goble) uploaded to YouTube which received millions of views. Throughout his teenage and adult years Donovan has recorded many times in professional studios playing guitar, bass, drums, and singing.

Attended Western Kentucky University where he earned his bachelor's degree in Professional Sales and Marketing (2014).

His father is African-American and mother is Caucasian.
