Biography

A 2019 graduate of the world-renowned Film BA (Hons) course at University of Westminster and a 2021 graduate of the MA Editing & Post-Production course at London South Bank University. Student Member of the British Film Editors (BFE) + Full Member of BECTU. I trained as a filmmaker - with primary specialisms in documentary, artists' moving image and sound. Alongside full time work [detailed in brief below], I'm a practising artist-filmmaker with previous work being shown in cinemas, on TV, streaming platforms in addition to winning awards at major festivals including Sheffield DocFest, Encounters, BFI London Film Festival, London Short Film Festival (LSFF), Raindance and BAFTA-Qualifying Carmarthen Bay FF. Our 2019 graduation film 'Oh Me Lads' won the RTS Craft Award for Best Student Documentary. My latest documentary, Cinema Now (2022), (available on DCP, 35mm and Blu-Ray) has just completed its 2-year festival run which toured at 200+ festivals worldwide and was seen by thousands of people.

I currently work as one of the Senior Edit Assistants at Platform Post - a BAFTA, RTS Craft, Promax and Emmy awarded boutique post-production house in the heart of Soho. Our work is predominantly focussed in providing full-service post (all stages) and Finishing Post for Factual Ent. and Documentary work across the broadcast TV sector. Other work we do includes newly commissioned high-end TV comedy/drama and recurring Children's TV formats. At Platform, in addition to the duties listed below, there are a wide range of other responsibilities which are high-pressure, and include sensitive/delicate matters and working with a mixture of high-profile clients & talent.
