Biography

Shen Lei, a voice actor, graduated from the acting department of the Shanghai Theatre Academy in 1995. Now he is an actor at the Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre. In 2001, he won the "Best Supporting Role" at Zuo Lin Dramatic Arts Awards organized yearly by Shanghai Dramatics Arts Centre. His nickname "bird brother" is due to his first voice acting role as the bird Igor in Aladdin (1992), thus the name. Representative works: the voice of Li Xiao Yao (Ge Hu) in the TV series Chinese Paladin (2005), the voice of Li Shimin (Peter Ho) in "The Prince of Qin, Li Shimin", the voice of Yang Kang (Hong Yuan) in Legend of Condor Heroes (2008), the voice of Gu Liufang, Lin Lin Ping, and Xu Changqing (Huo Jianhua) in Chinese Paladin (2005), the voice of Li Ge Xiao (Wallace Huo) in The Vigilantes in Masks (2010), the voice of Yin Zhen (Nicky Wu), the fourth elder brother in Startling by Each Step (2011), the voice of Seasonal Chan (Louis Koo) in the movie The Lion Roars (2002), Chong Hoi (Louis Koo) in All's Well, Ends Well 2010 (2010), and the voice of Emperor Kangxi in "Dreaming deer" (2011), among others.
