- Matthew Trezza is a filmmaker working primarily in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Area. Using his talents in cinematography and video editing, Matthew has worked in the film industry since he was 16 years old. In his professional work, Matthew has filmed weddings, commercials, advertisements, and live events all over the try state area.
Aside from his corporate work, he has been filming short films since he was 9 years old. Over the years he has amassed over 20 award winning shorts and two feature films. His director and producing credits include "Martini" (2025), "The Witch and Her Pumpkin" (2023), "Retro Boy" (2023), and "The Disposables (2021). He has also garnered attention as an Assistant Director on "Final Notice" (2025) as well working grip and electric on "Maximo" (2025). He has also acted and appeared in several short films his credits being; "Crimson Switchblade" (2025), "The 53rd Annual Hunger Games" (2022), "Swindels Six" (2020), and "The Jim Crow Holocaust" (2016).
Matthew's art reflects themes of people trying to stay in the past while being forced to move into the future. Characters who struggle to find identity while combating their past. He embraces magic realism and meld together stories were romantic whimsy fades into unsettling bleakness. He seeks explore the world through the camera lenses of the child I used to be.
