Biography

Yasmin Schancer is a Calgary-based actress and singer-songwriter. Born in Jerusalem, raised in Warsaw, she began performing at a young age, appearing in television productions, musical theatre, and voice-over work. At 18, she moved to New York City to study at the New York Film Academy's Musical Theatre Conservatory and later secured an O-1 Artist Visa. Yasmin has lived and worked across North America before ultimately establishing her career in Canada. Fluent in Polish and Hebrew, she is also a trained classical pianist with over ten years of experience and a versatile singer.
