Graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.A. in Japanese. (2011)

(June 1, 2015) Moved to San Francisco, California.

Has traveled to Europe and East Asia.

Grew up with Methodist minister parents who managed a church in the Lehigh Valley (Northeastern Pennsylvania). At age nine, moved less than an hour away to a little country town two hours from New York and two hours from Philadelphia.

Speaks three languages (English, German, Japanese).

Is able to juggle, ride a horse and swim (both parents were on the swim team at their high schools).

Started kendo training (Japanese fencing) while living in Germany.

Actively cosplayed and hand-sewed her own costumes for anime conventions (2007-2014).

Favorite books are Good Omens, American Gods, The Hobbit and Dune (by Frank Herbert).

Favorite anime are Yuu Yuu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin and HunterXHunter.

Plays piano and clarinet.

Has been writing narrative stories since she was 6 years old.

Has been an active member in the fanfiction/fanart community since she was 16.

Enjoys soccer (since elementary school), volleyball (since high school) and calm yoga (since college).

Favorite music artists are Billy Joel, Queen, Coeur de Pirate and Juanes.
