Nan Pai San Shu, pen name of Xu Lei, is a Chinese novelist and screenwriter.
He's mainly known for his series "Grave Robbers' Chronicles" (Dao Mu Bi Ji). He graduated from Renmin University of China in 2004. He has held numerous jobs, working as a graphic designer, a computer programmer, and a supplier to the U.S. gaming industry. He is now the chairman of NP Entertainment and is currently involved in the adaptations for his novel series Daomu Biji, also known as The Grave Robbers' Chronicles.
Xu Lei picked the pseudonym, Nanpai Sanshu (Third Uncle from the Southern School) from his own books. He used the name of the character Wu Sanxing, also known as Uncle Three (Sanshu), who belongs to the Southern School (Nanpai) of grave-robbers.
