Biography

Kristin Astourian is an Armenian-American Actress and Music Artist.

Kristin has studied Acting at the university level and in a Meisner conservatory style studio. She graduated with a B.F.A. in Theatre & Music from Avila University. She has performed professionally in several regional theaters throughout the Midwest.

As a musician, she is the lead-singer/songwriter of the one-woman band, Kae Astra. Her debut EP, Fortune was released via Modern Outsider Records. 80's nostalgia, haunting melodies, and a lush dream pop soundscape intertwine in her debut EP "Fortune", a collaboration between Kae Astra and Austin, TX mainstays Walker Lukens and Curtis Roush (of Bright Light Social Hour) who produced the EP. The songs were mixed by Danny Reisch (Wye Oak, The Octopus Project, White Denim) and mastered by Dave Cooley (M83, Animal Collective, Washed Out).
