Biography

Arthur Samuel Castellano III has a growing list of 30 plus film and television credits for his work as a 1st camera assistant, writer, producer and Cinematographer.

As the cinematographer for the short film Sanctuary, Arthur set a new bar for excellence and will continue to work with the same production company on the upcoming feature film based on the short in 2023.

Arthur continues to amass credits for his multi-hyphenate role as Director, Editor, Executive Producer. His first film was a dramatic short film, Voicemail which gave him a new drive for excellence in all areas of production. He is in constant demand as a cinematographer but in his most recent film he wore many hats including Executive Producer, Producer, Writer and cinematographer for the short film A Bridge to Nowhere.

Arthur's camera work is evident on the BET TV Series Á La Carte as "A" Camera Operator for 6 episodes in 2022. That same year he worked on the Hulu TV series Bite Sized Halloween.

Arthur is a California native who was born in San Diego and then moved to Covina, CA. His drive to become part of the entertainment industry began at age fifteen when Arthur's journey into production started as an audio engineer. He interned at a variety of studios including DJ Skee's SkeeLodge where he surrounded himself with production professionals growing into the audio engineer role.

After entering the audio engineering program at Citrus College in Glendora, CA, Arthur found new options for growing his skill set. Arthur began experimenting with DSLR cameras and began making music videos. This led to the realization that his true love was behind the camera where producing, writing and honing in on the art of cinematography was where he wanted to be.
