Attended Mr. Armando Lao's Found Story Scriptwriting Workshop in 2012 in partnership with University of the Philippines-Diliman Film Institute.

Will Sim Garcia was among the artists featured at the exhibit of "Hidden Cinema: The Virtual Experience of Philippine Cinema's Centenary" in Ayala Museum (Makati Philippines) on July 9 to September 9, 2018. The exhibit is a celebration of the nation's silver screen classics and contemporary works curated by multi-awarded filmmaker, film historian, and film literacy advocate, Prof. Nick Deocampo.

Attended the TV Writing Workshop (2012) of Aaron Rahsaan Thomas, acclaimed television, screenwriter, and producer who won a Peabody Award. His CBS procedural shows include such as CSI: NY (2004) and the award-winning show, S.W.A.T. (2017), and many more.
