Biography

Daniel Irving is a Vancouver based director creating films in comedy and drama that explore physical and visual movement and refuse to stand still. He grew up on Saltspring, an island of 10,000 people, and now works in Vancouver on independent film productions. His recent short films include "Deeply Rooted", which won the Run n Gun 2018 Best Writing award, "Mr. James is Dead." which won 3 Leo Awards and is part of Canada's 2020 Telefilm "Not Short on Talent" program at Cannes Short Film Corner, and "The Better Forever", Which won audience choice at Run n Gun 2021.
