Rad Pereira is a trans queer mixed Black, Indigenous Brazilian, Jewish (im)migrant based in Lenapehoking (Brooklyn) from Pindorama (Brazil).
Rad shifts between cultural work in performance, facilitation, popular education, social sculpture and cultural organizing. Their book on socially engaged performance and social justice, co-written with Jan Cohen-Cruz, was published by New Village Press in 2022. They are co-founder of You Are Here. They are building a Native led food sovereignty project, Iron Path Farms.
