Greg Tarzan Davis will next be seen opposite Tom Cruise in Top Gun: Maverick due in theaters in July of 2021. Davis made his film debut in 2019 in The Call of the Wild, starring Harrison Ford. Other credits include a recurring role on "Good Trouble," and guest-starring roles on series like "Chicago P.D." and "All Rise." Davis is now shooting Mission Impossible: 7 opposite Tom Cruise for director Christopher McQuarrie.

Davis is a New Orleans native who was exposed to theater at young age when his grandmother took him to local plays. He credits his high school teacher for encouraging his desire to pursue his love for acting which he did in his final years of college debuting as the lead in the play "By the Way, Meet Vera Stark". Since then he has never looked back.

Davis makes his home in Los Angeles, California and when he is not on set he enjoys creating amazing baked goods.

Greg Tarzan Davis original career goal was to become an elementary school teacher. He graduated from Louisiana State University with a B.A. in Elementary Education and began teaching 1st grade classes, but in his last semester in college decided he wanted to be an actor.

Greg Tarzan Davis is an athlete of many sports such as football, basketball, baseball, and track. He also has a background in martial arts, where he is a 2nd degree Black belt in Taekwondo.
