Andy Mallinson

Andy Mallinson is a British actor based in Manchester with a London base, focusing on film and serious television drama in the UK, Ireland and Europe. His screen credits include Tom in the Orillo Award-winning short 1.2 Million, lead Paul Wood in Morning Coffee, The Knock, and John Palmer in the Brink’s-Mat episode of Britain’s Biggest Heists. He also has individually directed television experience involving dialogue and principal-cast interaction.
Mallinson completed RADA’s four-day Introduction to Acting for Film & Television short course, with further screen and voice training at Inspire Actors Studio and The Speech Studio. During the pandemic he served as a West Yorkshire Police Constable and Trainee Detective, giving him first-hand experience of police procedure, CID and criminal investigation. His natural accents are RP and Yorkshire; he also performs Heightened RP and is currently learning Russian. He has the right to work in the UK and Ireland and is available for European productions.
