Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Elle McKinnon was born on August 5, 2006 in Vancouver, Canada. Elle McKinnon is well recognized for playing 'Charlotte' in 2017's Oscar-nominated, Lionsgate feature Wonder (2017) with Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson, Jacob Tremblay, and Mandy Patinkin.

Having pulled in over $250mm at the WWBO, Wonder (2017) continues to attract awards and attention. Critics at the magazine 'Cultured Vultures' describe Elle as a "newcomer who is here to be around for some time to come," and laud her for an "excellent performance which scored big laughs as showbiz Broadway Baby Charlotte."

Elle has also seen success in significant roles on the small screen joining the guest casts in Disney's Gabby Duran & The Unsittables (2019), the Netflix Original Series, Travelers (2016), ABC's smash hit, Once Upon a Time (2011), and Audience's Hit the Road (2017). Elle also starred in the Hallmark movie A Christmas to Remember (2016) with Oscar winner Mira Sorvino.

Elle began her career in the performing arts as a competitive dancer in disciplines including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, contemporary, and musical theatre. In her spare time, Elle is an avid reader and enjoys doing charity work; with the homeless and children with facial differences being the nearest to her heart.

In Elle&#39;s first four months of acting, she worked with two Academy Award winning actresses, <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0000210/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Julia Roberts</a> in Wonder, and <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0000227/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Mira Sorvino</a> in <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/title/tt6288876/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">A Christmas to Remember (2016)</a>.

Two weeks after signing with a talent agency, Elle had her first acting audition and landed the supporting role of Charlotte Cody in the Lionsgate movie <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/title/tt2543472/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Wonder (2017)</a>.
