Biography

Ostad Jahangir Alam is a prominent person in the Bangladesh film industry. Ostad Jahangir Alam learned martial arts from childhood. He joined the film industry as a fight director in the early eighties. He introduced a new trend in Dhaka cinema. The title 'Ustad' was added before his name. He had changed the action genre and introduced martial arts genre films to Dhallywood, he has also worked in many international films like Hum Sey Zamana and many more. He is also the father of martial arts in Bangladesh. He started his career as the first national karate coach of Bangladesh team then through it, He started teaching many actors of that time( Masud Parvez Sohel Rana, Masum Parvez Rubel, Misha Sawadagar, Elias Kanchan, Manna, and many more). He was Action Direct at first, then he started doing some negative roles in the action movies. His first main lead role was through Marshal Hero. Since then Ostad Jahangir Alam has worked in countless films, as an Actor, Director, Producer, Stunts Cordinator and Lyricist.
