A Chicago native, David first discovered his passion for acting in high school, where he began honing his craft and laying the foundation for a lifelong journey in performance. After rediscovering his love for the stage in 2008 through powerful illustrated sermons at his church, David fully committed himself to the art of storytelling, quickly gaining recognition for his authenticity, presence, and versatility as an actor.

David's career highlights include his television appearances on NBC's hit drama Chicago P.D. and MGM+'s adaptation of The Emperor of Ocean Park, where he had the privilege of sharing the screen with Academy Award-winning actor Forest Whitaker. On the film side, David worked alongside legendary actor Leon in The Rhythm and the Blues and has been featured in numerous independent film projects, where he continues to showcase his range and commitment to powerful character work.
