Biography

Evan Morris Reiser was born in New York City to Jullean Reiser, a hair stylist, and Steven Reiser, a sales executive and youth baseball commissioner. He was raised in Brooklyn, New York. He studied acting for 4 years at the prestigious LaGuardia High School of Music and Performing Arts. After graduating Evan was invited into The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre Conservatory program which is the birthplace of the Meisner Technique. He went on to study the Meisner Technique under master teacher Gary Kingston.

Evan then went on to perform in many theater projects including roles at Lynn Redgrave Theatre in "Sweety", The Metropolitan Opera in "Otello", and the Soho Playhouse in "Black Magic". Some of his television roles include "Shades of Blue" and "Deception". Coinciding with a move to Los Angeles, he landed the role of Solo in Ezekiel Goodman's coming-of-age short film, "Peacocking", which won Best Narrative Short at the Oak Cliff Film Festival. In 2022 he made his West Coast theater debut at the Geffen Playhouse as Freddie Luna in "King Liz", written by Fernanda Coppel.

He is also an accomplished musician and songwriter playing in bands as a singer, guitarist and drummer. He has performed solo singing on many city stages in and around New York city. He been training for many years in, soccer, baseball, basketball, chess, weights and dance. In addition, he has extensive training in martial arts along with a strong emphasis in kick boxing and capoeira.
