Biography

Mojtaba Mirshekari is a Los Angeles-based Iranian editor and director. He is best known for editing Incision (2024) and Wicked City (2022). Mojtaba started his career in his home country, Iran, where he edited several short films and obtained his master's degree in Cinema Studies. He moved to Los Angeles in 2017 and earned his second master's degree in Film Production with emphasis on editing. Since then, he has edited several other narrative films, including the Oscar's short-listed movie When the Sun Sets (2021).
