Biography

Actress Ella Balinska, known for her leading roles in Charlie's Angels (2019), Run Sweetheart Run (2020) and Resident Evil (2022), was born in London, UK and lives in Los Angeles, USA. Balinska trained and graduated at the Guildford School of Acting with honors, and acquired her combat skills at the Academy of Performance Combat. She also stars as the protagonist in Forspoken (2023) for PlayStation 5.

She is the daughter of Lorraine Pascale, a television cook and model, and Kaz Balinski, a businessman. Her father is of Polish and English origin. Her mother was born in London, to Jamaican parents, and was adopted.

Trained in the use of 12 weapons (13 including fists) at the Academy of Performance Combat, with weapons such as knife, single sword, double sword, gladius, axel shield use, broadsword, short staff and long staff.

She auditioned for the role of Selina Kyle/Catwoman in The Batman (2022).

At school, she used to compete in track and field at a national level, where she used to be a javelin thrower. She also played county-level netball.

She also works as a DJ and tech-house music producer.
