Biography

Bertha Calloway was born on July 14, 1925 in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. She is known for Nebraska Educational Television: The Black Frontier (1970) and The West (1996). She was married to James. She died on November 25, 2017 in Omaha, Nebraska, USA.

She was a civil rights leader, historian, author, speaker, playwright, and journalist. She founded the Great Plains Black History Museum in Omaha.
