Biography

Yin Yin is an award-winning Chinese American actress and songwriter based in Los Angeles. Known for her quietly powerful screen presence, including a principal role in the 2025 Cannes-winning short film "Before the Winter" and recently debuted her original song-Sound Of Angels.

She earned "Best Actress Emerging Talent" at the Coven Film Festival in San Francisco and "Best Supporting Actress in a Short" at the Milan Kraken International Film Festival.

Born in Malaysia, she was the female champion of Singapore's Asian Star Search (equivalent to AGT), and served as Balmain Swiss Watch's spokesperson across Southeast Asia for two years.

Inspired by the uplifting spirit of her community during the LA wildfires, Yin Yin wrote and performed "Sound Of Angels" as a tribute to love, courage, and creativity in uncertain times.

Multilingual and internationally trained, she has appeared in film, TV, and theater across the U.S., Singapore, Taiwan, and China. Outside of acting, she supports women's empowerment causes, volunteers locally, and trains in dance.
