- British/Trinidadian actor and writer, is set for her directorial debut this year with 'Apprentice: Dark Awakening'. Christie-leigh Emby is starring in three feature films set to be released later this year, and has recently won the Best Actress award at Slash Eyes IFF 2025. She is also set to direct short 'Why' this year, based on the novel of the same name.
Early life: Christie-leigh landed her stage debut in The Lost, at the Young Vic. She became a member of the National Youth Theatre where she further honed her skills. She began her journey as a writer, training at RADA, and as a filmmaker training at Brunel.
