Defender for C.D. Universidad Católica (Santiago, 1998-2004, 2007, 2011-2018), River Plate (Argentina, 2004-2006), Beitar Jerusalem (Israel, 2007-08, 2010), Chiapas F.C. (Mexico, 2008-2010) and Club Universitario de Deportes (Peru, 2010-11); in all 523 games and 46 goals.
Won the bronze medal with Chile Olympic Football Team at the 2000 Olympic Games.
24 appearances for Chile National Football Team (2000-2014). Member of the Copa América 2004 squad.
