Sam Bullington was born in Ft. Worth, TX and is the oldest of 3 kids to Lisa Bullington, a teacher, and Paul Bullington, a salesman. He loved movies since he was a kid and used to stay up at night in front of the the small TV in his room watching behind the scenes featurettes and actor interviews. He spent three semesters studying at the University of Texas at Arlington where he really fell in love with the craft of acting. He then moved to Los Angeles where he continued his studies at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute.

He loved movies since he was a kid and used to stay up at night in front of the the small TV in his room watching behind the scenes featurettes and actor interviews for hours at a time. He spent three semesters studying at the University of Texas at Arlington where he really fell in love with the craft. He then moved to Los Angeles where he continued his studies at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. His first credit was in Hap & Leonard (2017) opposite James Purefoy and the late Michael K. Williams. His next role was a series regular opposite Bella Shepard in the award-winning micro-drama series Two Sides (2019) for Snapchat. What he considers as his first "big-boy" project however was when he got to go back to Texas to work for Taylor Sheridan on the Amazon and Paramount show Lawmen: Bass Reeves (2022) opposite David Oyelowo. He learned so much watching him on that set. It ended up being perfect timing because within that same month he started work as a lead on the indie western drama The War Between (2025). He has recently been seen guesting on popular TV Shows including Prime's Fallout (2025-2026), CBS's NCIS (2025), and ABC's Will Trent (2026).
