Roop Durgapal, originally from Uttrakhand, is known for playing Sanchi in Balika Vadhu from 2012 to 2015, after which she played pivotal parallel lead roles in TV shows like Swaragini, Gangaa , Kuch rang pyar ke aise bhi, Tujhse hai Raabta , CIF & did multiple episodic stories in Pyaar pehli baar, Laal Ishq & Akbar Birbal. An Engineer by education, she has been a Software Engineer with Infosys technologies. She has also dabbled into theatre & has a keen interest in Singing
