He is a lifelong fan of low budget, backyard, and shot on video horror movies. He has made it the goal of his later life to pay homage to his favorite bad movies, by making his own. He has absolutely no interest in making good movies or high art.
Daryl's biggest influences are Todd Sheets, Mark and John Polonia, Andreas Schnaas, Olaf Ittenbach, Donald Farmer, and Nathan Schiff. His first film, a horror comedy called Ssssstoner Snake, is due out in April of 2025.
