Biography

Stephanie Chloé Hepner is a bold Argentinian director, writer, actress, and producer for television, film, stage and digital. Her latest film, Betty Bird Goes to War (starring Luna Lauren Velez and Jackie Cruz) has won her Best Director and Best Short Film Awards. She co-directed and produced Daddy Issues, which premiered at the Tribeca Festival, and writes, directs and stars in her upcoming comedy short-form series Out to the Wyld. Platinum Pussy, the play she co-wrote, directed and starred in at the Hollywood Fringe Festival earned her an Honorable Mention and a NYC residency offer. Stephanie is a board member and Director of Development at Latinx Playwrights Circle, a non-profit nurturing up-and-coming Latin playwrights and screenwriters. Her diverse training includes NYU Tisch Drama, Lesly Kahn, Bob Krakower, UCB, Desean Terry, and Peter Miner, among others. Acting credits include Law & Order, New Amsterdam, The Equalizer, Rizo (HBO), and the films I’m Not Her and A Boy Like That. . She’s a triple citizen (Arg/U.S./EU) which allows her to spearhead media collaborations with partners across the globe.
