Multi award winner, Newfoundland and Labrador native Karla Pilgrim has been winning over audiences from coast to coast. From performing for troops in The Middle East, May of 2007, to opening multiple sold out shows for country music superstar Tim McGraw in August 2015, Pilgrim's experience as a performer knows no boundaries.
In June of 2009, Pilgrim released her first solo album 'I'll Think of You'. Riding the success of her first record Pilgrim was selected to open for Alan Jackson in August of 2010. She enlisted friends to join her for what would be three unforgettable nights. Following the success of these shows, Pilgrim and friends formed country vocal trio The Secrets. After 10 years of touring, they disbanded in 2020 but not without releasing an award winning country record; 'Break Even' and two Christmas albums.
Pilgrim is currently over the moon to be working on new music, releasing her first solo single in 15 years. Every Single Summer, co-written by Hannah Dorothy Bristol(Eurovision) and Peter Daniel Newman is an exciting summer love song that pays homage to Pilgrim's 90's country vibe and distinct vocal style influenced by country and gospel stars such as Patty Loveless, Trisha Yearwood, Vestal Goodman and Sonya Isaacs.
Pilgrim is a staple in the Newfoundland and Labrador music scene and is actively writing and producing and performing with Jackie Sullivan, her duo partner of over 22 years. She is also a proud member of The Spirit of Newfoundland Productions and currently starring in critically acclaimed show 'Nashville Nights'. Pilgrim is a mom of three beautiful babies who provide enough inspiration to last a lifetime.
