- Billy John Twomey was born in Ruislip, London the youngest of a family of five. He has one older brother and three sisters.
As a child, he had an interest in football. He played throughout his childhood for Queens Park Rangers and England School Boys, until he fell out of love with the sport. His passion turned to the arts, mainly music playing in a small band with his 3 friends. After a discussion with his Drama teacher at school whom he had made an impression with in a school play, he pursued acting.
He studied at prestigious schools such as Barbara Speake Stage School in Acton, and The Edgemar Center for the Arts in Santa Monica, California under Michelle Danner.
