On the heels of his award-winning short film 'Lollygag' (2022), which earned top honors, including the Champs-Élysées Grand Prix du Jury and the Slamdance AGBO Award, Tij D'oyen was named one of Filmmaker Magazine's '25 New Faces of Independent Film'. He was a Film at Lincoln Center Artists Academy fellow (2023) and was one of Provincetown Film Society artists in residence (2024). His short film 'Nepotism, Baby!' premiered at Tribeca Film Festival (2024).
Tij was born in Long Island, raised in rural North Carolina, and is now based in New York City. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Drama (2017).
